Dhaulagiri Community Resource Development Center (DCRDC) is a local implementing partner working with Practical Action Nepal under the HEARTH – Harnessing Renewable Energy for Clean Heating in the Himalaya project, funded by the Clean Air Fund and led by ICIMOD. The project aims to promote clean, reliable and affordable heating solutions in Lower Mustang, Nepal.
Under this initiative, DCRDC invites Expressions of Interest (EOI) from eligible and qualified firms for the supply, installation, testing, commissioning and after-sales servicing of clean heating and renewable energy solutions in Gharapjhong Rural Municipality, Mustang.
The procurement covers four categories: (i) household electric space heaters and electric blankets; (ii) basic household electrical wiring upgrades; (iii) institutional clean-heating systems; and (iv) grid-connected solar PV systems, including net-metering-related requirements where applicable. The project is intended to support a minimum of 70 households and 5 institutions, subject to technical feasibility and available resources.
Application Procedure
Interested firms legally registered in Nepal are invited to submit an EOI demonstrating their relevant experience, technical and financial capacity, proposed products and technologies, supply and installation capabilities, warranty arrangements, after-sales service plans, and local service partnerships. Firms may apply for one or more categories; however, preference will be given to firms capable of providing complete services across all four categories and coordinating with local vendors/service providers in Lower Mustang.
The detailed EOI document, including technical specifications, evaluation criteria and submission requirements, is available on the DCRDC website: [www.dcrdc.org.np].
Interested firms should submit their EOI electronically to [email: [email protected]], with the subject line “EOI – Supply, Installation and After-Sales Service of Clean Heating Solutions under HEARTH”, no later than 1 November 2026, by 5:00 PM Nepal Standard Time (NPT).
Applications received after the deadline may not be considered. DCRDC reserves the right to accept or reject any or all applications and to cancel the process in accordance with its applicable procedures, without any obligation to award a contract.
