Dhaulagiri Community Resource Development Centre (DCRDC) Baglung is a nongovernmental, non profit making organization established in Baglung by local people of Baglung. Since its establishment, DCRDC has been successfully completed different types of 37 community development program in its working areas of Baglung, Parbat, Myagdi, Mustang, Kaski, Syanja, and Tanahun district of Western Development Region of Nepal with active community participation.
DCRDC has been receiving very good response from the target communities of its working areas and earned considerable reputation among development partners. At present, DCRDC has been implementing Micro Finance Program for Women, Mini Grid Rural Electrification Support Program, Biomass Energy Support Program, Decentralized Energy Management Initiation (DEMI), Solar Energy Support Program (SSP), Rural Drinking Water & Sanitation Program, Water Sanitation &Hygiene (WASH), Local Governance and Community Development Program (LGCDP), Community Livestock Development Program (CLDP) Sensitization & Awareness Rising program on HIV/AIDS Based in Baglung, Parbat, Myagdi, Kaski, Gulmi and Arghakhachi districts in partnership with in different support groups utilizing local resources.
DCRDC has been expanding its various development programs by establishing branch offices in Baglung, Parbat, Myagdi, Arghakhanchi and Gulmi district and contact office in Burtibang Bazar of western part of Baglung. DCRDC has worked with the nos. of donor partners viz. DANIDA, MS-Nepal, RWSSFDB, HMG/ADB-Micro- Credit, HELVETAS- Pokhara, SNV/ NEPAL, ILO/IPEC, AEPC/ESAP, Word Education, UNICEF, NSMP, RIDP (Rural Infrastructure Development Committee), SSMP (HELVETAS), Nepal Forum of Environment Journalist (NEFEJ), Embassy of Federal Republic of Germany, Nepal Scotland Association (NSA) England, RWSSP-WN Pokhara, LGCDP District Development Committee (DDC) Baglung, DLSO (CLDP)Baglung etc. and has make many local partners to implement the program effectively.
